The first game I encountered with the Victory Game's modern fleet series. I specifically excluded games covering primarily the Cold War, which will be the subject of a separate list games involving primarily thermal nuclear war, which will be covered in my next list games where a post apocalyptic Earth is protrayed, which will be the subject of a separate list and games which are more about an alternate history, rather than potential WWIII scenario (e.g., Fortress America, etc.). FYI - I am a sucker for comments and discussion and usually most if not all of them. If I missed one that you feel is essential or I am "insane for not listing" (trust me, it has been said before), then by all means let the comments fly.
WORLD WAR III GAME FREE
Feel free to this list (to draw attention and more comments) or any pleasing, interesting or thought provoking entries. This is a list of the BEST! As always, your mileage may vary and some entries may be "controversial." As such, please feel free to comment, debate, or just express your own point of view. These are games that meet substantially all of the following criteria: (1) the build-up, outbreak and waging of WWIII (2) primarily a wargame, but can also cover political, economic and other factors affecting WWIII (3) compelling "theme" attempting to capture the essence/probabilities associated with WWIII and (4) fun to play.
